Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We’re reaching out to quickly share the key dates for high school admissions this year. These are being publicized on the NYCPS website and may be shared with families:

• Tuesday, October 1, 2024: High School Application, LaGuardia Application, and Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT) Registration Opens 
• Friday, October 18, 2024: SHSAT Registration Closes 
• Wednesday, October 30, 2024: SHSAT School Day Testing 
• Sat / Sun, November 16-17, 2024: SHSAT Testing (8^th grade students not participating in school day testing)
• Wednesday, December 4, 2024: High School Application Closes 
• Sat / Sun, December 7-8, 2024: SHSAT Testing (9^th grade students)
• Thursday, March 6, 2025: High School Offer Release
