NOTE: A small service/convenience fee charged by Edlio is added to the final cost. If your trip needs to be refunded, a refund will only include the cost of the trip and will not include the service fee.

TRIP DETAILS:

Your eighth-grade student has been invited to attend the senior trip to Nickelodeon Universe on Thursday, May 28, 2023. ALL attending this trip MUST arrive to school on time (8:00 am sharp) as we will be loading buses immediately after homeroom.

This trip extends past school hours. School time at the park will be between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. At 3:00 pm we will begin to load buses for departure, expecting arrival back at MS 202 around 4:30-5 pm (depending on traffic). Please be sure to identify on the permission slip if you will be at the school to pick your child up or if they have permission to walk or take public transportation home upon our arrival back at MS 202.

The trip fee includes unlimited rides, a lunch voucher to eat together as a grade in a chosen restaurant, and transportation to and from the school. The fee does NOT include concession snacks throughout the day.

We will be taking Coach buses, so students are welcome to bring snacks with them for their time on the bus. Students will also ask if they can bring electronics for the bus ride. That is a decision for parents and it is “bring at your own risk”. The school is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Students will be issued their “senior shirts” the morning of the trip and will be asked to wear them in celebration of the end of their senior year and to help chaperones identify MS 202 students from those that are there with other schools while in the park.

I understand that my child shall be accompanied by staff member(s) during the trip, including while traveling from the departure site to the destination site, and from the destination site to the return site.

I understand that alcoholic beverages and/or illegal drugs are prohibited and have discussed this prohibition with my child. I understand that if my child is found in possession of these substances, they will be subject to school disciplinary procedures and possible criminal prosecution.

I understand that students who violate the school’s discipline code may be excluded in the future by the school from participating in a trip.

I agree and understand that I am responsible for the actions of my child. I release the school from all claims and liability that arise in connection with the trip, except if due to the negligence of school officials.
